Das Projekt
The Rowancraig Wind Farm is a new renewable energy project with a planned location about four kilometers west of Sanquhar, in Scotland. Current plans envision a total of six wind turbines with a maximum hub height of 180 m.
As soon as the wind farm goes online, the turbines could be able to generate enough energy to cover the power consumption of around 36,000 homes in Scotland.
Permit approval still pending.
