Das Projekt
Koehler Renewable Energy put the Wetzlar-Blasbach wind farm into operation in mid-February 2024. The wind farm consists of two state-of-the-art Vestas V150 turbines with a total output of 8.4 megawatts and a tip height of 241 meters.
Accordingly, the wind farm is expected to produce 23,000 MWh of electricity every year, which is equivalent to the power consumed annually by around 9,000 average two-person households in Germany.
