The project
The biomass combined heat and power plant in Dollbergen went online in July 2020. Koehler Renewable Energy GmbH is the majority shareholder behind the project, and implemented it together with Umwelt Management AG.
The Dollbergen power plant is fired with untreated wood to simultaneously generate electricity and process steam with combined heat and power technology.
Supplying production operations at AVISTA OIL with process steam.
