The biomass cogeneration plant in Dollbergen went into operation in July 2020. The main shareholder¬ behind the project is Koehler Renewable Energy GmbH, which completed the plant in conjunction with Umwelt Management AG (UMaAG).
At Dollbergen, natural wood will be burned and – thanks to cogeneration technology – used to simultaneously produce power and process steam.
